The following specifications show what to expect when you sign up for our services as well as our commitment to ensure that they are completed. We are different from most lawn care companies in that we guarantee our work with our 100% satisfaction guarantee. Lawn Mowing Services
Our standard lawn care service includes mowing the entire lawn, string trimming all fences, houses, and objects in the lawn. We edge all sidewalks, driveways and hardscapes with a blade and blow off all trimmings. We mulch the clippings into the lawn as it is most beneficial for the lawn. Mowing height is dictated by the season, temperature, and variety of grass. We offer weekly and bi-weekly service. We recommend weekly service if you water your lawn, fertilize, or wish to improve the overall quality of your lawn. If you have any concerns we offer free call backs to correct any concerns within 24 hours or the concerns will be addressed on the following visit. Please understand that the health of the lawn is in your hands and we would be happy to provide you with steps for improving any problems upon request.
Lawn Inspection
We provide periodic lawn evaluations. This will include recommendations on how to improve the overall health of your lawn. The crews also will make recommendations as well. Recommendations can include watering instructions, fertilization, and any other items that will help to improve the overall health of the lawn and soil. While this service is random and unscheduled feel free to request an inspection for any recommendation at any time. Generally the quicker a problem is detected and treated the cheaper the solution becomes.
Lawn Fertilization and Weed Control Service
Our seven step program will have your lawn looking great year round. Our treatments include a comprehensive slow release fertilization program, pre emergent weed control and post emergent control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds. Insect prevention is provided in the summer for fire ants, chinch bugs, and grub worms. We also offer an all natural program at the same price. Our professional staff is licensed and highly trained. Our program is custom designed to be environmentally conscious and efficient. If you have any concerns, we offer free call backs for full service fertilization customers.
Tree Management Service
We have a certified arborist on staff that can diagnose diseases and professionally prune your trees. We offer composting, tree fertilization, and consultations to keep your trees looking at their best. All work is provided with a detailed estimate of the services to be performed.
Bed Maintenance
We provide flower bed maintenance through weekly or bi-weekly weeding of flower beds. We can hand pull weeds or in severe conditions spraying may be most cost effective. There are both natural and chemical spraying solutions. Shrub pruning is available on a schedule that meets your needs. Shrub pruning is done at the discretion of the crew and generally involves shaping up the shrubs unless a specific height and shape is specified. Installing mulch in all flower beds reduces the frequency of flower bed maintenance. Mulch helps maintain the moisture needed for healthy shrubs. Unless otherwise specified we install three inches of hardwood mulch, dark brown, to all of the beds with mulch. It is recommended that 3" of mulch is maintained.
Leaf Removal
This service involves picking up and removing leaves in the yard and flower beds. We generally recommend this service to be scheduled at the same time the lawn is mowed. By mowing and bagging the leaves we can reduce the cost involved in manually removing the leaves from your lawn. We are available to provide miscellaneous cleanup and disposal services. Texas Lawn Services maintains a year round staff to meet any out of season needs you may have. Leaf cleanup can be done on a regular basis or as a one time service.
Additional Charges
Leaf cleanup is included with our weekly service. A $10 per 1 ton bag (3'x3'x3') charge is applied for each bag of leaves we remove to cover the disposal fees. The leaves are sent off to be recycled.
For lawns that are overgrown our one time charges are as follows:
$10-$20 extra for lawns that are between 8-12" tall.
$20-$40 extra for lawns that are 1' - 2' tall.
$40+ extra for lawns over 2' tall.
These prices reflect the additional extra time needed to mow these overgrown lawns.
Brush and Trash Disposal rates:
The following fees are used to pay the disposal fees we pay for discarding of brush and trash. We estimate the costs based on the quantity of brush or trash to be removed. Example a 1/4 trailer of brush would be $37.50 for the disposal fees. Schedule your brush or trash removal during bulk collection in Austin and the city will remove the items for free.
Brush disposal rates:
$150+tax per 16 cubic yard trailer. Plus labor for trimming, loading, and unloading.
Brush is recycled and turned into mulch.
General Policy
Please remove any items, toys, pet droppings, etc from the turf area that would interfere with us performing any service. For general safety please do not approach the crew while they are using equipment. Our rain policy involves emailing all customers that we are on a rain delay. We will be out the following day or next available day to resume services. All payments will be made the following day on the credit card provided. Service will be suspended if a credit card on file is no longer active. We will notify you that a new card will need to be provided in order to continue service. If an invoice becomes thirty days overdue services will be paused until payments have been made in full. Payments over 60 days overdue are subject to an 18% late fee. Failure to pay will be reported to credit agencies and may affect your credit rating. We understand that you have many choices when it comes to lawn care services. Landscape Materials
All landscape materials are non refundable. Most landscape supply companies do not accept items for return. We are always happy to provide you with a sample of any product before any purchase.
